Background

The Stag Owners Club of Australia was formed in Adelaide back in March 1987. The aim of the founding members was to provide owners and enthusiasts of the Triumph Stag with the opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts and thereby share knowledge and experiences. Through interactive meetings covering technical, social, and public display events, members could learn to maintain their cars in top condition increasing their enjoyment of Stag motoring.

The Stag Owners Club of Australia - South Australia Branch was incorporated in South Australia in March 1989 and became an affiliated member of the Federation of Historic Motoring Clubs S.A. Incorporated. The Club continues to focus on the preservation of Triumph Stags throughout Australia and encourages participation with Stag Owners from other States and Territories but is limited to administration of historic vehicle registration in South Australia only.
